Copyright Notice

Ownership, attribution, lawful exceptions, and permitted reference use.

Effective and last updated: September 30, 2026

1. Protected work

Original articles, commentary, written assessments, guides, diagrams, presentations, photographs, artwork, recordings, and other expressive content on this site may be protected by copyright. Rights belong to Christine Moffett LLC, Christine Moffett, the credited creator, or the applicable licensor, as indicated by the work and governing agreements. All rights not expressly granted or reserved by law are reserved.

The website footer identifies the site operator: ©2026 Christine Moffett LLC | A Whisperer Holdings Company. All Rights Reserved. That notice does not transfer ownership of third-party or separately owned portfolio-company content.

2. What is not claimed

We do not claim exclusive ownership of facts, ideas, general methods, legal requirements, public-domain material, or government standards merely because we discuss them. Copyright protection and lawful uses depend on the actual work and applicable law. References to NIST or other standards do not make their underlying requirements our proprietary property.

3. Reference, links, and attribution

Sharing a link to a public article is welcome. Reasonable personal or internal business reference use is allowed under the Website Terms and any resource-specific license. Keep author, source, and ownership notices with permitted copies. Attribution alone does not authorize republication of a complete work, distribution of a download, or another use requiring permission.

4. Fair use and other lawful exceptions

Nothing in these policies is intended to override fair use, public-domain status, or other rights and exceptions under applicable law. Fair use depends on context; there is no universal number of words, pages, or percentage that makes every use lawful. When permission is needed, request it through the Intellectual Property & Permissions Policy.

5. Reports and permission requests

Please use the Copyright Complaints & DMCA Policy to report suspected infringement. Book excerpts, course use, republication, licensing, and translations may require approval from the actual rights holder or publisher.
