Intellectual Property & Permissions Policy

1. Rights are specific to the work

This policy covers permission requests relating to site content and material offered by Christine Moffett LLC. Copyright, trademarks, contractual rights, confidentiality, and rights of publicity may all be relevant. The actual owner and any existing license or client agreement determine what can be granted. A related publishing company may control book or series rights.

2. Uses that generally require written permission

• Republishing an article, substantial excerpt, guide, image, diagram, recording, or other protected material.
• Translating, adapting, distributing, reselling, sublicensing, or incorporating protected work into a product, paid course, workshop, commercial presentation, or client deliverable.
• Reusing branded frameworks, assessment tools, policy templates, or licensed resources outside the permission accompanying them.
• Using a logo, portrait, voice, or name in advertising, endorsements, commercial media, or synthetic content.
• Bulk extraction or collection of protected content for commercial datasets, retrieval products, model training, fine-tuning, evaluation collections, or similar AI uses where permission is legally required.

This list does not restrict uses independently allowed by applicable law. Ordinary linking, permitted reference use, and lawful quotation remain subject to the Copyright Notice.

3. What to include in a request

Identify the exact work and URL, rights holder if known, the portion requested, intended audience and purpose, format, distribution method, expected copies or reach, territory, duration, proposed changes, and whether the use is commercial, educational, or AI-related. Include a sample layout or description when useful.

A request, acknowledgment, or discussion is not a license. Permission must be confirmed in writing by an authorized rights holder. Any approval applies only to the stated use, scope, term, attribution, and other conditions. It does not automatically include sublicensing, exclusivity, endorsement, or future editions.

4. Downloads and client deliverables

Free availability does not mean unrestricted redistribution. Resource-specific licenses control. Where no additional license is provided, the limited reference permission in the Website Terms applies. Client deliverables and pre-existing methods or templates are governed by the signed engagement agreement; these website policies do not transfer client IP or change agreed deliverable rights.

5. Third-party and affiliate material

We cannot grant rights we do not control. Photographs, quotes, standards, software, brand names, and books may need separate permission from their owners. “A Whisperer Holdings Company” indicates affiliation, not a single license covering every portfolio business.
