I had the pleasure of working with Christine in her role at NASCAR. My job is to source sports tech startups for the Comcast NBCU SportsTech Accelerator. NASCAR is a partner to the program. Christine’s understanding of the innovation priorities of NASCAR was key in our selection process to match teams with those priorities. Christine’s reviews and comments on the tech of the startups was always insightful and spot on. She is a true leader in technology and building a forward looking tech platform.

I have known Christine for over 20 years, first as a peer when she was with the Diamondbacks, then as a client when she ran SEAT and finally as an direct employee at NASCAR. She has an incredible reputation as a leader and innovator in the industry. I am complete impressed on how she can lead a discussion regardless if it is a small team meeting or a conference of 3000 people. While at NASCAR I was completely impressed on how she translates these skills to her management style. She completely changed the culture of the Data Strategy Team creating a work environment where staff felt enabled and respected.

I’ve known Christine for over 15 years and have had the wonderful opportunity to work with her as a member of the S.E.A.T. Advisory Board (Sports Entertainment Alliance in Technology).
When you work with someone for as long as I’ve worked with Christine, you develop a pretty good sense of the kind of “Stuff” that that person is made of. In my case, I’ve seen Christine in countless situations that have spanned the horizon from downright difficult to incredibly joyful. Through these experiences, I’ve learned a few things about her.
First, Christine has the highest energy level of ANYONE I have ever known. (Without a doubt, she’ll out work me any day of the week!) However, her energy level is unique in that she doesn’t “Plow” over others, she simply motivates others to “Plow” with her. Her attitude is infectious, and it encourages everyone else be part of moving the ball forward.
Second, she is one of the smartest, brightest people I know. She’s well versed on an incredibly wide range of topics. Much of that is because she’s not afraid to ask questions and dig beneath the surface. She has helped me to understand that it’s very much OK to not have all the answers, but that it’s not OK to not ask the question.
Finally, what really separates Christine apart from others is the fact that she has a HUGE heart. I believe that a good part of her drive comes from the fact that she wants to help those around her to be the best version of themselves. And so, it’s her empathy, compassion and honesty that allows her to be such a successful Mentor, Counselor and Trusted Advisor.
At the end of the day, Christine is what I believe is the definition of a true leader……an incredibly hard worker, smart and motivational. After observing her for years, I have no doubt that she has the “Right Stuff”. It’s been an absolute honor to work along side her all these years!

Writing a recommendation for Christine is a difficult task, because you don’t want to leave out all the great qualities and experiences she brings to the table. She is rare in more ways than one. She has been wildly successful in traditionally male-dominated industries like technology and sports, first as VP of IT/CTO of franchises like the Arizona Coyotes and Arizona Diamondbacks, and currently as the Head of Enterprise Technology for NASCAR. Her ability to run technology organizations at the highest level of the sports industry speaks to her capabilities for understanding how to introduce and integrate new technologies into complex technical environments.

Finally, Christine’s interpersonal and community building skills are among the best I’ve ever had the pleasure to experience. As the founder and force behind SEAT, Christine was responsible for creating one of the best conference experiences there is in the industry. And having attended them annually for seven years, I always marveled at how she was able to always find new ways to improve on an event that was already top notch. In fact, everything she does is top notch. Which actually made writing this recommendation very easy.

You’ll rarely meet a leader as inspiring, transformative and supportive as Christine! I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and reporting to Christine for several years during her role as head of enterprise technology at NASCAR where she has fostered a culture of innovation and collaboration while providing us incredible opportunities to develop professionally and personally. Above all Christine leads with integrity, poise, transparency and humanity. She is a true champion and a light; Christine has my absolute heartfelt recommendation.

Christine is one of the most dedicated people I know. When she was in at Caremark she always seemed to be on top of everything that was going on and was able to effectively manage an incredible load of projects. She also has proven ability to develop a very well rounded and engaged workfgroup of employees that are motivated to get the job done. With her technical, financial and people skills Christine is a valuable asset for any organization she works with.
